John Sheridan, the Australian Government Chief Technology Officer and Procurement Coordinator, will discuss the application of ICT governance standards to government procurement and use of ICT.
Aside from his day job, John is the inaugural chair of the ISO/IEC JTC 1 sub-committee on IT Service Management and IT Governance. He was a co-author of the original Australian standard on the governance of IT, the predecessor of ISO/IEC 38500 Governance of IT.
