A group of Australian start-ups has descended on London to explore ways to expand their businesses internationally.

Run by Startup Catalyst, this is the fourth mission to London and the largest to date with more than 40 delegates attending, including a group of female founders.

Mission attendees receive exclusive access to investors, mentors, and accelerator spaces, and meet with experts inside companies such as Google and Facebook.

The mission coincides with London Tech Week, one of the world’s leading tech events for tech entrepreneurs.

Startup Catalyst CEO Aaron Birkby said the mission was about more than just meetings and pep-talks.

“It’s not a trade mission or study tour,” Birkby said. “It’s about cultural transformation.

“It’s about getting founders to understand that what they are producing in Australia is world class.”

This is the second time Startup Catalyst has brought a female founders group to London.

ACS acquired Startup Catalyst in 2018.
