ACS Victorian Chairman Craig Horne today announced the appointment of Ms. Michelle Bourke to the role of Victorian State Manager.
“Michelle has previously held the role of Marketing, Membership and Communications Director at Australian Medical Association (AMA) Victoria. She is an experienced campaigner in professional associations and her field of expertise is in membership engagement, in delivering value back to the members. She combines a focus on strategic direction with operational oversight and is as adept with employee management as she is with social media and digital communications.”
“I am confident she will drive the timely achievement of Victorian annual business goals in line with the ACS national strategic goals.”
Mr. Horne also paid tribute to Ms. Natassja Cooper, who previously held the role of Victorian State Manager and has been with ACS Victoria for almost three years.
“Natassja has done a great job of leading the Victorian branch through a period of restructuring and change with the results being increased staff productivity, a renewed emphasis on membership growth and a cohesive culture that drove collective results through individual contributions. I wish her well for the next phase of her life starting in the UK.”
Michelle Bourke has extensive senior management experience across professional associations, corporate and the not-for-profit sectors. Prior to joining AMA Victoria, Michelle worked for Delaware North Companies International as the International Marketing and PR Manager working on such projects as the Wembley Stadium, Emirates Stadium and Southern Cross Station in Melbourne.
Ms. Bourke holds a Bachelor Degree in Business & Logistics Management and a Masters of Business Marketing.
“It’s a great honour to be able to lead a state branch like ACS Victoria” Ms. Bourke said.
“This is an exciting time for ACS Victoria working with IT professionals across the state in an ever-changing and evolving landscape.”
Ms. Bourke will commence in her role from 10 August 2015.
