The CIS Doctoral Colloquium is a one day research conference for Research Higher Degree (RHD) students in the Computing and Information Systems department at The University of Melbourne.
Organised by CIS RHD students, the purpose of the event is to provide students with an opportunity to present exciting new developments in their research, works-in-progress and have their PhD critiqued by an expanded audience. The event aims to foster a positive environment to help students develop their academic presentation skills and encourage inter-department networking.
The event will be attended by University of Melbourne students, academics and industry representatives sponsoring the research.
ACS Victoria are proud to announce our sponsorship of the upcoming University of Melbourne CIS Doctoral Colloquium and involvement in the Q & A panel session ‘Life after PhD’, where Branch Executive Committee member Sofia Chancey, will be participating and sharing her experiences.
