ACS sponsors the Sydney Founder Institute, the world's largest entrepreneur training and startup launch program, helping aspiring founders across the globe build enduring technology companies. If you're looking at kick starting your business, consider joining the next intake that begins in March. ACS members who apply by the 7 February application deadline have the opportunity to be in the running for two fellowships, offered to the best technical and female founders, where the course fee will be waived.

Founder Institute founders typically have been investigating their idea for some time, but have not formally launched their business. Founders work on building their business through the 14 week program, coached by a mentor network of successful startup CEOs, working around 25-hours per week on their startup, while they keep their day jobs. Founder success in the program happens two ways:

  1. Founders build their dream company and launch with strong skills; or
  2. They realise they aren't cut out to be startup founders, fast!

Based in Silicon Valley and with chapters across 100 cities, the Founder Institute has helped launch over 1,500 companies in 5 years. Its mission is to "Globalise Silicon Valley" and build sustainable startup ecosystems that will create one million new jobs worldwide.
