We are very excited to invite both men and women of IT to celebrate International Women’s Day with us in 2015.

Start your day with the opportunity to network and become inspired over a delicious breakfast overlooking the Yarra River.

All around the world, International Women’s Day celebrates the economic, political and social achievements of women, while focussing world attention on areas still requiring action to ensure that women’s equality is gained and maintained in all aspects of life.

Each year the United Nation sets a theme for International Women’s Day. ‘Make It Happen’ is the 2015 theme, encouraging effective action for advancing and recognising women.  Building on this theme, we have called our 2015 Breakfast ‘Leading Ahead - Connect, Disrupt and Make It Happen!’

This year our keynote speaker is Jane Martino, an inspirational expert in media and communications, a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of two very successful online start-ups:

  • Smiling Mind a free online Mindfulness Meditation program for young adults
  • Shout for Good, a fundraising platform that is changing the way the world gives

Join us and hear Jane’s story on how she inspired, led and ‘made it happen’!

We also have a lot to share on the achievements from the Leadership Hacks campaign, which you all helped to make happen.

There are a few other surprises in store such as live music, door prizes and a Twitter competition.

Come and join us for a day of celebration with the global community in marking this internationally significant day.
