ACS’ Startup Catalyst has launched a mission for regional Queensland agtech innovators to be held in Brisbane over three days from November 9.

The two-and-a-half day event will give agtech entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet some of Queensland’s top innovators, mentors and experts along with the opportunity to network and collaborate with some of the state’s top Agtech startups

This mission will give participants the tools, knowledge and connections to help take their startups to the next level.

Among the planned events will be the opportunity to meet with with Leanne Kemp, Queensland Chief Entrepreneur and the Advance Queensland team, a private session on attracting local investment with Llew Jury, Founder and MD of Sprint Ventures and startup masterclass with Peter Laurie, Director of Junta, Startup Catalyst mission leader & RiverPitch coach.

The first day will end with an official dinner giving the group an opportunity to network with key members of the Brisbane innovation ecosystem.

On the following day, participants will visit and meet the team from one of Queensland's leading innovation hubs, visit key sites in the Brisbane innovation ecosystem and take part in an Aussie Founders Panel hosted by the UK Department of International Trade to hear from startups scaling in the UK.

The final day will feature an investor breakfast with ten13 including local Brisbane investor Steve Baxter to gain insights into what investors are looking for, what makes a startup stand out, and test their pitches.
