The Management Committee (MC) created an ACS strategy to improve our operations, provide a stronger focus on member and partner value, and deliver data-driven products and services. Given recent political and economic changes, this strategy and our yearly operating plan are essential tools to ensure our ongoing relevance as well as revenue.
To this end, the Management Committee created an IT Steering Committee (Committee) to make sure that all internal and external resources are available to ACS to help address these challenges.
Three members of the committee have already been named – Peter O’Halloran (Chair), Helen McHugh and Ian Oppermann. But at least 2 more experts with current and specific skills are needed with a focus on business transformation and cybersecurity. Other technical and platform skills include:
- Data driven design
- Delivery of large-scale digital transformation projects
- Artificial Intelligence as applies to business
- UX/CX Design
- Systems Architecture
- IT Management
- Salesforce Platform
- Adobe Platform
- Mulesoft Platform

We are starting a process of identifying candidates, determining fit, and appoint to the Committee. If you or another ACS member you know would be interested in volunteering for this assignment, we want to hear from you by Friday, 21 July 2023.
